By creating an account or using Promptafire (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@promptafire.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Promptafire offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (“Pro,” “Team”). Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise specified.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis through Stripe, our payment processor. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for recurring subscription fees.
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.
Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar taxes based on your jurisdiction.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Subscription portal accessible from the Pricing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to paid content until then.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscribers. If you are not satisfied with the Service within 14 days of your first paid subscription, contact support@promptafire.com for a full refund. After 14 days, subscription fees are non-refundable. Partial-month refunds are not provided.
If you signed up for a free trial, you will be charged the applicable subscription fee at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service and its content for your personal, professional development purposes.
You retain ownership of any original work you create using the Service (e.g., portfolio projects, prompt outputs). By submitting content for assessment or portfolio features, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process that content for the purpose of providing the Service.
All course content, frameworks, assessments, and materials (including but not limited to the CLEAR Framework, Five-Block Framework, and AI+Human Decision Matrix) are the intellectual property of Promptafire and are protected by copyright law. Third-party product names referenced in course content (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, HubSpot) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for educational purposes under nominative fair use.
Certificates of completion are issued based on meeting specified assessment criteria. Certificates represent completion of coursework and do not constitute a professional license, degree, or accreditation. We reserve the right to revoke certificates obtained through fraud or violation of these Terms.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that course content will be accurate, complete, or current at all times, that completion of courses will result in employment, promotion, or specific career outcomes, or that AI tools and platforms described in courses will maintain the features or pricing described.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Promptafire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Promptafire provides educational content for professional development. Course content does not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical, or marketing advice. You are solely responsible for how you apply course concepts in your professional work. Results will vary based on individual effort, market conditions, and other factors.
Some course content, including example outputs, practice scenarios, and illustrative marketing copy, includes AI-generated text. All AI-generated content is reviewed and edited by human instructors. Fictional scenarios, brands, and statistics used for educational purposes are clearly labeled as such within the course materials.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Wilmington, Delaware. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license to access paid content ends immediately, but these Terms (including limitations of liability and dispute resolution) survive termination.
